Figures Crawling is part of Figures in Motion, a series of video works inspired by a lifelong study of the human body in motion. The figures are abstracted; their intricate, undulating movements are realistic and unaltered. Together they create mesmerizing perceptual effects in the mind of the viewer that fluctuate between our deep familiarity of human motion and otherworldly fluid abstractions.
