Opening Animation for the Spanish Pavilion at the Seville World Expo '92. This animated work was designed to present a new image of Spain to the rest of the world; one that blends the warmth and rich cultural traditions with the latest advanced technology. Two works were created providing two perspectives of Spain.
In Fire and Air traditonal symbols of Spain - the sun, the ritual use of fire, fireworks, fiestas and flamenco dancing - are presented in a unique style of computer animation. Particle system software and specialized programs were utilized to create intricate, natural, flowing forms and movement.
